Ok so now on to our lives. Well school has ended and Eric is looking for summer work. May 20, 2011 Adams had Field Day.

The dunking tank. 4th grade was allowed to be dunked.

Steve Gentile. Adams Principal. What a sport.

He tried catching himself.

The students met their reading goal. So Steve shaved an "A" in the back of his head. He also kissed a pig. I didn't get a picture of that.

Our most wonderful PTO President. Suzanne Short.

My lunchroom at the end of the day. Don't worry it got clean. Steve did a good job.

Have enjoyed sleeping in the past few days. We went up to Driggs for Memorial weekend and had a BBQ with Michelle and Selina and their families. It's was lots of fun. My parents took off to Colorado with my mom's aunt for Memorial weekend. They had a good time. Desiree and her family went camping for Memorial weekend. And of course Joseph is in Michigan. So the rest of us got together. Not much is going on here at the McCoy house. It's summer so the days are going by slow, but that's ok. But that's all for now. So hope everyone is have a nice summer.

Bible Trivia

Ok so I have been slacking on this blog. February - my brother, Joseph, left on his mission to go to the MTC. March - Joseph is in Michigan now, and is loving it. I'm so happy that he is on a mission. Way to go Joseph!! I also celebrated my 25th birthday. Scary. April - It was Spring Break. During Spring Break it: 1 - snowed, 2 - we got a new car - 1994 White Lincoln Continental, 3 - we went up to Driggs, 4 - we had a BBQ with my family, 5 - we met the new Bishopric, which is Bishop - Dan Hanna, 1st Councilor - Greg Orme, 2 Councilor - Brad Archibald. So it's been crazy. I am attaching a picture of our new car. Also in April, Eric and I will celebrate our 6th Wedding Anniversary. I can't believe we have been married that long. Wow.

Update

First off, my brother, Joseph, got his missions call!!!!! He goes to Lansing, Michigan and leaves Febraury 2 to the MTC. Then spends I think 3 weeks in there and then off to the mission field. I am so excited for him and I know that he will be a wonderful missionary. I love him and want him to know that he is such a wonderful example to me. Lansing, is getting a wonderful guy.

Joseph 2009 on Santa's lap. (This is the only decent picture that I have and I wanted to include a picture of him.)

Eric and I have been sick witht he cold. Lucky we had 2 extra days off from school. We got SNOW DAYS!! 2 right in a row. Unheard of. Then we already had the next 3 days off for Thanksgiving break. Monday we go back to school. I can't believe that there are only 2 school days left of this month. December is coming WAY TOO FAST!!

Andy and Scott still live with us. Makes for long days most of the time. Maybe someday.

We spent Thanksgiving with my family this year. Then my mom asked if Eric and I wanted to go shopping on Black Friday with them. We did. We went to Idaho Falls so we can be at Super Walmart by 10pm Thanksgiving night. We didn't leave Walmart until 2 in the morning. We stood in the check out line for 2 hours. Then we went to Denny's. Never going there again. It was horrible. The food was ok, the service was horrible. We were there until 4:30. Then we went to Kmart for the 5am sale. Toy 'R' Us was next. Then Sportsman Warehouse. Then the Mall, then Porters. So it was a long day. We didn't get home until 8:30-9:00 in the morning. Eric fell asleep as soon as we got home. I stayed up for another hour, then fell asleep. Niegher one of us woke up until 2 in the afternoon. A few hours later we went out to Menan to see Eric's mom, Teresa. She had leftovers. So glad that there was no school. I would be so tired. My sister, Michelle, her husband Tom, and Joseph had to work until 5 and 6. My mom had to work at the Temple. So she was tired.

Now we are planning Christmas. We are having our Ward party on December 4th. December 11 we are having a Family Party. So Christmas is on its way. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

The Lord hears and answers us

I am so thankful that they Lord answers prayers. Even though at times we think he is ignoring us. Yesterday I talked with my brother, Joseph, and he told me that the Stake President emailed our dad saying that Joseph's mission papers are once again moving forward. It has been 6-7 weeks ago that Joseph sent his papers in. He got a message back saying that he has to lose weight. He was so devastated. Satan worked hard on him these past few weeks. Well after yesterday, he stood taller and had a happier tone in his voice. He asked me about getting the school for his farewell lunch/dinner. He asked. Of course I already had talked to our mom and we were planning on getting it. I've had it reserved since August. I am so Proud of him. He is my Big Little brother. He is my example, my friend, and my brother all rolled into one. I love him and I know that he will be such a wonderful missionary. I hope for the best. I love the Lord and the gospel. It is my rock and salvation. The Lord is my Redeemer. So once again I am thankful that the Lord answers prayers and that He is there for us when we need Him.

Well other then that. Eric and I have been plugging along with work. It goes by fast. I am not doing After School this year. Less money, but more time with my wonderful husband. We looking forward to the day that Joseph leaves on his mission and we are also taking December 7th off. It's a random day and we are going to enjoy it together. We are also planning our Annual Family Christmas Party. So we have lots to look forward and another great year of school. Hope everyone is well and enjoying this fall season.

This post is to catch up

Well school has started and we have been in for a while. Spud Harvest is over with and we are now looking forward to Halloween. Parent Teacher Conference is next week. I love having the same days off as Eric. It is so fun to hang out and relax with him. I really missed that when he worked out at the site. I DON'T miss waking up at 3 in the morning just so he can get ready for work. It's nice to sleep in. This year we get 3 days of for Thanksgiving. Christmas break we get out on December 20th and go back on January 3rd. We are going to take a random day off and spend time together.

Scott and Andy still live with us. It makes for a long day when either one is grouchy. Andy has been so bored lately that he has cleaned. My bathroom is spotless. Scott all he does is work, then he comes home and plays on his computer. So living with 3 guys is really a challenge. It reminds me of the movie 3 Men and a Little Lady. But instead of Little Lady, it's just Lady.

Another thing has happened in my family. My brother Joseph has put in his mission papers and is waiting for his mission call. So exciting!!!

My sister Selina found out what they are having. They are having a baby girl at the end of February. So then they will have 1 boy and 1 girl. I will then have 3 nieces and 2 nephews.

We got a cat. It adopted us. So we named it Alisha. So is a gray, black and white striped cat. I love her. She keeps biting the guys though. He He He. She must hate guys.

Other than that, we are justing plugging along with work and family. Keeping busy. Enjoying our time together. Living life.
