Boy do we HATE being sick

Ok so we got over the sickness before Thanksgiving. Then we decided to take a day off, December 7. Eric was sick half the day with the stomach flu. Then I got sick again. Ugggg. We have decided to not take anymore days off. We always end up sick. Now Eric is better and I am almost there. I'm at the last part.

Tomorrow is our Annual Family Christmas Party. I am SO EXCITED!!! We have been planning this for a year. The theme that we decided to go with is "The Polar Express" It's going to be fun. I'll keep everyone updated with pictures to come.

Update

First off, my brother, Joseph, got his missions call!!!!! He goes to Lansing, Michigan and leaves Febraury 2 to the MTC. Then spends I think 3 weeks in there and then off to the mission field. I am so excited for him and I know that he will be a wonderful missionary. I love him and want him to know that he is such a wonderful example to me. Lansing, is getting a wonderful guy.

Joseph 2009 on Santa's lap. (This is the only decent picture that I have and I wanted to include a picture of him.)

Eric and I have been sick witht he cold. Lucky we had 2 extra days off from school. We got SNOW DAYS!! 2 right in a row. Unheard of. Then we already had the next 3 days off for Thanksgiving break. Monday we go back to school. I can't believe that there are only 2 school days left of this month. December is coming WAY TOO FAST!!

Andy and Scott still live with us. Makes for long days most of the time. Maybe someday.

We spent Thanksgiving with my family this year. Then my mom asked if Eric and I wanted to go shopping on Black Friday with them. We did. We went to Idaho Falls so we can be at Super Walmart by 10pm Thanksgiving night. We didn't leave Walmart until 2 in the morning. We stood in the check out line for 2 hours. Then we went to Denny's. Never going there again. It was horrible. The food was ok, the service was horrible. We were there until 4:30. Then we went to Kmart for the 5am sale. Toy 'R' Us was next. Then Sportsman Warehouse. Then the Mall, then Porters. So it was a long day. We didn't get home until 8:30-9:00 in the morning. Eric fell asleep as soon as we got home. I stayed up for another hour, then fell asleep. Niegher one of us woke up until 2 in the afternoon. A few hours later we went out to Menan to see Eric's mom, Teresa. She had leftovers. So glad that there was no school. I would be so tired. My sister, Michelle, her husband Tom, and Joseph had to work until 5 and 6. My mom had to work at the Temple. So she was tired.

Now we are planning Christmas. We are having our Ward party on December 4th. December 11 we are having a Family Party. So Christmas is on its way. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

The Lord hears and answers us

I am so thankful that they Lord answers prayers. Even though at times we think he is ignoring us. Yesterday I talked with my brother, Joseph, and he told me that the Stake President emailed our dad saying that Joseph's mission papers are once again moving forward. It has been 6-7 weeks ago that Joseph sent his papers in. He got a message back saying that he has to lose weight. He was so devastated. Satan worked hard on him these past few weeks. Well after yesterday, he stood taller and had a happier tone in his voice. He asked me about getting the school for his farewell lunch/dinner. He asked. Of course I already had talked to our mom and we were planning on getting it. I've had it reserved since August. I am so Proud of him. He is my Big Little brother. He is my example, my friend, and my brother all rolled into one. I love him and I know that he will be such a wonderful missionary. I hope for the best. I love the Lord and the gospel. It is my rock and salvation. The Lord is my Redeemer. So once again I am thankful that the Lord answers prayers and that He is there for us when we need Him.

Well other then that. Eric and I have been plugging along with work. It goes by fast. I am not doing After School this year. Less money, but more time with my wonderful husband. We looking forward to the day that Joseph leaves on his mission and we are also taking December 7th off. It's a random day and we are going to enjoy it together. We are also planning our Annual Family Christmas Party. So we have lots to look forward and another great year of school. Hope everyone is well and enjoying this fall season.

This post is to catch up

Well school has started and we have been in for a while. Spud Harvest is over with and we are now looking forward to Halloween. Parent Teacher Conference is next week. I love having the same days off as Eric. It is so fun to hang out and relax with him. I really missed that when he worked out at the site. I DON'T miss waking up at 3 in the morning just so he can get ready for work. It's nice to sleep in. This year we get 3 days of for Thanksgiving. Christmas break we get out on December 20th and go back on January 3rd. We are going to take a random day off and spend time together.

Scott and Andy still live with us. It makes for a long day when either one is grouchy. Andy has been so bored lately that he has cleaned. My bathroom is spotless. Scott all he does is work, then he comes home and plays on his computer. So living with 3 guys is really a challenge. It reminds me of the movie 3 Men and a Little Lady. But instead of Little Lady, it's just Lady.

Another thing has happened in my family. My brother Joseph has put in his mission papers and is waiting for his mission call. So exciting!!!

My sister Selina found out what they are having. They are having a baby girl at the end of February. So then they will have 1 boy and 1 girl. I will then have 3 nieces and 2 nephews.

We got a cat. It adopted us. So we named it Alisha. So is a gray, black and white striped cat. I love her. She keeps biting the guys though. He He He. She must hate guys.

Other than that, we are justing plugging along with work and family. Keeping busy. Enjoying our time together. Living life.

Fire, Camping, and House gone.

Here are some pictures of a fire that happened before we left to go camping. Somewhere out at the INL a fire started. It burned 109,000 acres of land. Crazy.

This is the Rexburg Temple and the fire was in the west.

These 2 pictures are of the sky. A friend says that the sky is bruised.

This one is of the sun. Crazy!!!

Well it's been a long weekend. Last Thursday Eric and I went camping. Friday my sister, Selina and her family, Shad and Shon, my sister Michelle and her husband Tom, my brother Joseph and my parents, Milt and LuAnn came up. We had so much fun camping. We sure missed my other sister Desiree and her family, Carl, Kelty, Kassy and Chris. But boy was everyone tired when Sunday came around. Our camera broke, so I had to use my mom's camera. As soon as she gets those uploaded I will put them on. Saturday Eric drove a few of us to the creek and we got our feet wet. Eric slipped and stepped on a sharp rock. My parents brought up their 5th-wheel and that's what we slept in. Even though we did have a tent. Eric's back was bothering him. Friday we slept in the 5th-wheel again because of his back. Sauturday we slept in it again because of his foot. So we set our tent up for nothing, but that's okay. Thursday Eric and I were so bored that we thought we were going to go insane. Just before my parents left, my dad accidently stepped on his valve step for his tire. So then he had a flat tire and they ended up taking our car back to Rexburg. They didn't like that one bit. Friday morning Selina, Shad, and Shon followed my dad up because he had to get his truck. He didn't drive our car back, he drove their van. So our car stayed at my parents house all weekend. After my dad left Selina and I made sandwiches and then we all played games. We played Monopoly Deal (It's a Monopoly card game) and Killer Bunnies. That afternoon my parents came back up (instead of going to the Wilding reunion) with Michelle, Tom, and Joseph following. Then we set up 3 more tents, so there was 4 tents and a 5-wheel. Saturday Dad, Mom, Michelle, and Joseph left to come back to Rexburg because Mom and Michelle ordered Bountiful Baskets. While they were there, the witnessed a house getting burned to the ground. On the road where we live there was a house on the corner, well it was sold to the Pro-Rental place and they wanted the land so they can expand. Saturday they along with the Rexburg Fire Department burned it to the ground. As they were leaving the campsite, Selina, Shad, and Shon left to go to Ririe Days. Tom, Eric and I were the only ones left at camp. So we had some breakfast and were playing card games (Monopoly Deal and Phase 10) until Michelle, Dad, Mom and Joseph got back. Since the 3 of us already had breakfast, they cook breakfast for themselves. Joseph left after that to spend time with his friends. Mom took a nap while Michelle and I started things for Dutch Oven Pizza. Shad, Selina, and Shon came back and then while the pizza was cooking, Eric, Selina, Shon, Michelle, Mom, and I went to the creek. It was fun. While we were gone, Dad, Shad and Tom stayed at camp, while there a sudden gust of wind picked up the canopys, so lucky they were there to watch so they didn't fly away. We got back and finished making dinner, then we enjoyed dinner. Eric made his Chuckwagon to go with the pizza. We also had corn on the cob, chips, idiot salad, and many other things. Sunday Eric and I got up early and started taking down our stuff. We were finished before anyone else got up. Once everyone was awake we made breakfast and cleaned up. Eric and I were the 1st ones to leave, then the rest left shortly after that. When we got home, Andy had cleaned the living room and part of the kitchen. Since he didn't know where anything went, he put everything in our room a=on the floor and on the bed. That's not what I wanted to do when I got home. I was already hot and tired, and I just wanted to relax. Eric helped me out though. He helped me clean and we relaxed. I even put off laundry until today. So now laundry is done, the house is clean and I can relax. So it was a long and tiring, but fun weekend. Soon school will start and then we will be back in the routine of that. I will post pictures as soon as I get them. Hope everyone is safe and sound and enjoying the weather.

So when I get pictures of the house I will put them up as well. This house has been up ever since I was born. It was a little sad to hear that it was being burnt to a crisp. My family said that it was so HOT that they had to stand acrossed the street.

Well It's Been Awhile

It's been awhile since I have been on. It's been crazy around here. Well we got a letter in the mail a while back from Eric's dad. It was pictures of Eric and his brothers when they were little. Thought I would put them on here.

Starting from the couch on it goes: Andy Yon (1st), and then Jon McCoy (4th). On the floor is Shaun McCoy (3rd), and Eric McCoy (2nd). This is at Easter time.

This one is of Eric when he was 14 months old.

This is Eric, Jon and Shaun.

This is Jon. Not sure how old he is in these two pictures.

This is Shaun. Not sure how old he is either.

Left to right it goes: Shaun, Eric, Jon and Andy at Christmas time.

This last one is of William McCoy (their dad) and Jon.

Eric and I were so excited when we saw these. I was talking to Jon's wife and she was saying that none of the kids have really changed. I agree. You can still tell which one is which.

Let's see what else has been happening. Well we are planning on going camping with my family. We leave tomorrow. Can't wait. Hopefully my family will take lots of pictures, because our camera broke, so we don't have a camera now. If I get pictures I will have to post them.

I have also been exercising with my family. My mom and I walk or use the Biggest Loser game for the Wii, then one of my sisters works out with her co-workersand plays softball, and another sister walks around with a friend. My dad has also been riding a bike as well as Eric. So we are getting healthy and staying fit. That is our motto in my family now. It has helped a lot. I sometimes ride with Eric.

Another piece of news is that my sister Selina is pregnant with their 2nd child. So exciting!! I am so happy for her and her family.

So we have been keeping busy and having fun. Have a wonderful day!!!

2 Things. The 1st is that school ends on May 27, 1020. So close. Yeah!!!!!

Next thing. I realized that I don't have any pictures of Eric and I on here. We have been married for 5 years on April 16, 2005. It has taken me almost a month to put these pictures up. Thank you to our family and friends that have been with us along the way.
